1. Place the eggs in a pot and cover them with cold water.
2. Bring the water to a gentle simmer and cook the eggs for 12 minutes.
3. Drain the hot water and immediately place the eggs in cold water to cool.
4. Peel the shells off the cooled eggs.
5. Slice each egg in half lengthwise and scoop out the yolks.
6. Combine the yolks, mayonnaise, and mustard inside a small plastic bag and mash until smooth.
7. Snip a tiny corner off the bag and pipe the yolk mixture into the hollowed egg white halves.
8. Add any desired garnishes before serving.
