1. Cook the ground meat in a pan until browned, then drain off any excess fat.
2. Season the meat with salt and pepper if desired.
3. Stir in the tomato soup, one can of water, and the prepared vegetables.
4. Bring the mixture to a boil, then cover and simmer for 25 minutes until the vegetables are soft.
5. Take the pan off the heat and let it sit covered for 10 minutes to allow the stew to thicken before serving.
