- 200 gpasta
- 1 cantuna
- 400 gtomatoes
- 1onion
- 2garlic
How to cook it
- Bring a large pot of tap water to a rolling boil over high heat, add 200 g pasta, and boil for 8 to 10 minutes until tender to the bite, then drain thoroughly.
- Peel and finely chop 1 onion, and peel and mince the 2 garlic cloves.
- Place a skillet over medium heat, add the chopped onion and minced garlic with 2 tablespoons of tap water, and cook for 4 to 5 minutes until softened and translucent.
- Chop 400 g tomatoes, stir them into the skillet, and simmer over medium-low heat for 10 minutes until bubbling and slightly thickened.
- Drain 1 can tuna, flake it directly into the simmering tomato sauce, and stir for 2 to 3 minutes until warmed through to an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Add the drained pasta to the skillet, toss thoroughly for 1 minute until completely coated in the sauce, and remove from the heat to serve.
