What goes in

How to cook it

  1. In a large saucepan, combine 1 cup dried cranberries, 2 cups water, and ¼ cup sugar.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk 2 tablespoons cornstarch with ¾ cup tap water until completely dissolved and smooth.
  3. Pour the cornstarch mixture into the saucepan with the cranberry mixture and stir to combine.
  4. Place the saucepan over medium-high heat and bring the liquid to a boil, stirring constantly, about 3 to 5 minutes.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and simmer, stirring frequently, for 8 to 10 minutes until the sauce thickens into a glossy glaze and the cranberries become tender and plump.
