- 14.8 mlbaking soda
- 44.4 mlground ginger

How to cook it
- Measure 8 cups white flour, 1½ cups sugar, 1 tablespoon baking soda, 3 tablespoons ground ginger, 3 tablespoons ground cinnamon, 1 teaspoon ground cloves and 1 teaspoon salt into a large mixing bowl.
- Whisk for 1 to 2 minutes, breaking up any lumps of baking soda or spice, until the mix is one even color with no streaks.
- Spoon the mix into a large airtight container (it makes about 10 cups), seal it, and write the name and today's date on the lid.
- Keep it in a cool, dry cupboard. Whisk or shake it again before you measure any out, because the spices settle.
