Round Steak Casserole

What goes in

• 2 lbround steak
• 4.9 mlgarlic salt
• 1onion
• 3potatoes
• 1 canlow-sodium French-style green beans
• 1 canlow-sodium tomato soup
• 1 canlow-sodium whole peeled tomatoes

How to cook it

1. Dust the round steak lightly with the garlic salt, plus salt and black pepper to taste.
2. Slice the steak into individual portions and transfer them into the slow cooker alongside the sliced onion, separating the slices into rings.
3. Layer the quartered potatoes and drained green beans over the meat and onions.
4. Pour the canned tomato soup and whole tomatoes across the top.
5. Put the lid on and simmer on Low for 8 hours.
6. If the dish seems too watery near the end, take off the lid for the final 30 minutes to let the liquid reduce.
